On Friday, Year 5 visited the Simon Balle Food technology department to prepare and cook Greek dishes, as part of our Ancient Greece topic. Each group made a different dish- Lamb Koftas, Greek Salad, Hummus with Pitta bread, Halloumi Kebabs and Fruit Kebabs with honey and yogurt. Delicious! We enjoyed learning new skills – using kitchen utensils safely and following food hygiene codes. It was amazing to see the food displayed at the end of the session – a feast, which we all shared!
